Seattle Public Library (Central Branch)
Volunteers are needed to assist with storytimes, juggling acts, dramatic performances, etc., for children 0-8. They prefer someone who can come with some consistency on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays (or all) in July at 10:30, or Mondays in July at 11:30. This is downtown at 4th and Marion. Youth Tutoring Program

Urban League
Summer University is for K-8 at Seattle University from June 27 - August ?, all day. Students will take part in a sailing class, jazz choir, 3-D animation, reading, noncompetitive sports, math, etc. You need not commit to all day or every day. Orientation is June 22 at 4:00. Cascade Bicycle Foundation: Teach Kids to Bike!
The Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation is looking for energetic volunteers to help run our Bicycle Skills Rodeo Events this summer. If you’re interested in biking or working with kids or both, this is a great way to help teach kids how to be safe, skilled and awesome cyclists. Bike Rodeos are events where kids bring their bikes and participate in a number of events geared at sharpening their skills on a bike.
We are looking for volunteers who can commit to as little as one or two rodeos a month from June – October. Rodeos generally last one to two hours, are on the weekends and are outside. We provide training for all of our volunteers prior to the events. If you’re interested in working with kids, promoting safe biking, working for a great nonprofit and getting outside this summer, this would be a great opportunity for you. -
Cascade Bicycle Foundation: Participate in Community Helmet Sales and Help Make Seattle Bikers Safe
The Cascade Bicycle Club is looking for friendly and dedicated volunteers willing to help run our helmet sales and fittings this summer. If you’re interested in biking, biking safety or are looking for a way to get outside and promote safe cycling in the community, this is a great opportunity for you.
We are looking for volunteers who can commit to helping with our sales as little as once a month from June – October. Sales are generally on the weekends, outside, and last two to three hours. We provide helmet fitting training to all of our volunteers before you participate in a sale. This is a great way to meet some awesome people, get outside, volunteer for a great nonprofit and promote safe biking in our city. -
